Review The Desert Treat An Assassin’s Creed Novel by Yan Leisheng

As always I want to start by saying that I was given a copy of this to review. My review is honest and left voluntarily and avoids spoilers. #AconyteBooks #TheDesertThreat #YanLeisheng #AssassinsCreedNovel #Netgalley

The Desert Threat sees Yan Leisheng continue their masterful exploration of Shao Jun in this Assassin’s Creed novel. I adored the Ming Storm which highlighted the skill and mastery Leisheng has over creating a superb tie in and The Desert Treat continues this tradition, arguable taking it to new heights. I have always loved the Assassin’s Creed universe but Leisheng truly brings it to life, capturing with great historical accuracy the world that was.

Leisheng blends action, adventure, intrigue and character depth into a superb novel that is hard to put down. The writing flows beautifully and it is easy to get carried away into the world Shao Jun lives. This book is a must for lovers of historical fiction, intrigue, super characters and of course the Assassin’s Creeds universe. It is hard to comment more on the plot without spoilers but I must say you will not be disappointed by this one, one bit!
